The 67th Venice Film Festival, as the oldest film festival in the world raised the curtain at night in September 1st. And Darren Aronofsky’s psychological thriller Black Swan as the opening film astonished the audience with its sharp contrast in scene and the hot star Natalie Portman’s perfect performance.

Kirk Honeycutt remarked, “No matter in dancing or interpretation of the role, Portman did a wonderful job. And we can see her self-challenge in this movie”. In a word, Portman as well as her movie become hot topic in 2010 Venice film festival.

For the opening ceremony, Natalie Portman impressed the red carpet with red Rodarte formal dresses which with structured and embellished bodice. Red color has been quite popular this year, 2010 has witnessed quite a lot celebrities attended the big event in shining red. For example, Cannes Film Festival 2010 several months ago also impressed us with red evening dresses, Mexican actress Salma Hayek, Diane Kruger, to name some few.

Then with Black Swan play staff, Natalie Portman appeared with short and sweet dark purple cocktail dress, matched with satin rose gold heels. After her appearance with purple dress, many fashion experts predicted that the dress will become quite popular for a long time.

Elisa Sednaoui proffered this year's trend color black to attend the film festival.

Of course, the ceremony has other well-dressed celebrities waiting your judgment. Jessica Alba wears Valentino couture to the premiere of “Machete” at the 2010 Venice Film Festival. Her cute mini black dress matched with long veils also quite elegant in the ceremony.

Actress Sabrina and Violante Placido chose the quite similar color of wheat.
